07/2003 - The dismantling starts...
07/2003 - Once dismantled, we can see how simple is the conception: an engine, a steering wheel, and wheels.

The chassis is completely stripped down. The rear suspension is straighten up, reinforced and some tubes are replaced by bigger ones for more strength. The chassis is completely stripped down. Once stripped bare and sand-blasted in some points, the chassis receives a coat of primer. Small bits and pieces are also stripped bare, and a new battery box is welded to the chassis.
06/2004 - A crossbar is welded in order to create a boot behind the seats. This crossbar will be finally removed as it would take too much place in the passenger cell. The chassis starts to be painted.
Everything is painted, it starts to be nice and clean, as I like. Small bits and pieces are also painted. The chassis is awaiting for the rebuilt.
07/2004 - Pedal box, front subframe and front end are fitted.
Some details of the chassis are fitted: upper fixations of the shock absorbers, suspensions arms, etc. All bushes and lots of parts are replaced by new ones when it's possible. It has to be reliable.
The front assemblies are back on the chassis, the petrol tank is fitted and the brake circuit is fitted with brand new pipes. Finally, it will be upgraded later...
